PEC Appointed as Third-Party Quality Auditor for ₹27 Crore Kajouli Water Works Upgrade

Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh, has been appointed by the Municipal Corporation (MC), Chandigarh, as the third-party quality assurance agency for the ₹27 crore Kajouli Water Works upgradation project. The initiative aims to ensure that the project meets prescribed technical standards and quality benchmarks. The upgrade includes the replacement of ageing infrastructure, installation of a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, online monitoring, and other critical improvements to strengthen Chandigarh's water supply system. PEC's verification and certification will help ensure transparency, quality, and successful execution of the project.
