Navarambh 2025–26: A New Beginning for Rotaract Club PEC

The Rotaract Club of Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh, successfully organized its Installation Ceremony 2025–26, titled ‘Navarambh’ , official pinning ceremony of Rtr. Simrat Sidhu (@simratksidhu_), Lakshit Jain (@jain.lakshit11) and the Board of Directors.

The event was graced by our professor in change Dr. Vibhor Chaswal(Metalurgy Department) and distinguished District Council members DRR Rtr. Ritik Nagpal, DRRE Dr. Manu Gupta, DRS General Rtr. Rishabh, and ADRR Rtr. Rajkaran Singh along with esteemed members of Rotary Club Chandigarh Central, including President Rtn. Vebhu Bhatnagar, Secretary Rtn. Rajiv Aggarwal, and Past President Rtn. Sanjeev Checker, among others. 

The ceremony commenced with the traditional Saraswati Vandana and lamp lighting, symbolizing knowledge and prosperity. Outgoing President Rtr. Himanshu Hooda presented the annual report, reflecting on the impactful activities and milestones achieved in the previous year.

The leadership mantle was then passed on as Rtr. Simrat Kaur was collared as the new President of Rotaract Club PEC and Rtr. Lakshit Jain as the new Secretary, along with the executive board for 2025–26. Their appointment marks the beginning of a tenure driven by fresh energy, vision, and dedication to community service. 

In their inspiring addresses, the dignitaries highlighted the importance of Service Above Self, encouraging young Rotaractors to carry forward initiatives that create a lasting impact on society. The ceremony concluded with felicitation of the esteemed guests and a collective pledge to step into the new year with renewed passion and purpose.
