METALIIM 2.0: Celebrating Innovation, Learning, and Leadership

On 18th April 2026, METALIIM 2.0 brought together innovation, learning, and meaningful discussions under one roof. From the creative ideas showcased during the Green Pitch Challenge to the inspiring session by Prof. B.S. Murty on the opportunities and challenges in the metallurgical and materials industry, the event highlighted the importance of looking beyond textbooks and engaging with real-world problems. One thought from the session continues to resonate with us: true growth comes from exploring deeper, questioning more, and embracing challenges rather than simply following a predefined path. METALIIM 2.0 remains one of those experiences that reminds us why we chose this field in the first place. It was a day filled with ideas, conversations, learning, and inspiration that will stay with us long after the event itself.
