FAREWELL NOTE

Hello esteemed Alumni, 

How are you all? 

My 2 year tenure as PECOSA President (2024-26) is coming to its glorified completion. 

PECOSA Constitution allows for the second term for President PECOSA and I was also persuaded by PEC faculty, former President, Senior Alumni, my batchmates and few young batches alumni also to continue for second term. I sincerely hope due to our good performance for PECOSA and networking among alumni, showcased your love and faith in my leadership at PECOSA. 

A New Leadership for a New Chapter

In my personal opinion, I shall not nominate myself for the second term as President PECOSA. I feel other deserving Alumnus should come, evolve and work for betterment of PECOSA. There is no dearth of leadership among our alumni. 

Further the President post should not be possessed by any individual for even second term...2 years are sufficient to make a change. 

Let new leadership evolve.

Further I do feel, I have raised the bar of PECOSA by organising activities cum engagement of PEC-ALUMNI- STUDENTS with more industry interactions, internships and campus placements by our own alumni. Our persuation for support by Alumni and PEC Authorities resulted in funds for grand events, seminars, projects and setting of new semiconductor laboratory and AI labs at PEC, and also approval of infrastructure including New Auditorium at PEC, all of them resonates with growth trajectory of PECOSA. We funded more than 200 needy students in my tenure for tution fees and overall growth of them, only by support from all of you. 

All these facts were supported by my Executive Committee and PEC Director Sir and already published in our new website PECOSA.CO.IN

Gratitude to Our Alumni Community

First and foremost, I must thank each one of you for your unconditional support and trust in me, PECOSA and your Alma mater. Only due to your patronage, I along with my team could organise for mammoth yearly Global Alumni meets wherein participation crossed more than 1000 nos. coming from across the world.  The love & affection from Alumni as well as their families in Alumni legend evening was testimony for our 2 year work in PECOSA 

I must also thank all noble souls supporting our initiative of PECOSA for the funding of needy students of PEC for their Tution fees, projects, and infrastructure support for our Punjab Engineering College. 

Also a heartfelt gratitude to our Honourable Director PEC Dr. Rajesh Bhatia, Head Alumni Department Dr. Rajesh Kanda, all Deans, faculty and college authorities for unconditional support to our endeavor for betterment of PEC. 

I must also thank my mentors, all former President of PECOSA, my Executive Committee along with my General Secretary and Treasurer for having full faith in my leadership and supporting me for every decision for PECOSA. 

Yes, many more things needed to be done and I also being part of new EC as immediate Past President, will certainly push for those also, with your support. 

Since now election notice for new team 2026-28 has been announced. I sincerely appeal to all alumni to fully support this election process by registering yourself in PECOSA.CO.IN and nominating deserving candidate and voting sensibly for the betterment of future of PECOSA. 

I'll be always there for PEC-PECOSA-ALUMNI. 🙏
