In the next edition of the PEC Alumni Webinar Series, we have Alum Doordarshi Singh among us. He completed his Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Beant College of Engineering and College, Gurdaspur in 2000 and Master of Technology in Metallurgy from Punjab Engineering College in 2005. He has a teaching experience of 19 years and is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib.

He shares his fond interests in the field of Music, cycling and chess and has won various accolades for the same. HE is proficient in playing different musical instruments like Harmonica, Keyboard, Tabla etc. He has been imparting knowledge related to the field of Music, Metallurgy, Science and Mathematics through online teaching on his YouTube channel. He has also delivered expert talks on subjects like Music and Science and Religion, Time Management etc.

His love for music motivated him to take up the topic of “Science of Music” through which he will cover the Physics and Mathematics involved in music theory. He will be giving us a whole new perspective regarding the field of music and how it is both a form of Art and Science.
