Meet Dr. Manmohan Singh Kalsi, popularly known as Dr. M.S. Kalsi – a mechanical engineer, inventor and Founder & President of Kalsi Engineering, Inc. in Texas, USA.

Born in Quetta, his family fled during the Partition of 1947 and rebuilt their lives in India. He later earned his Mechanical Engineering degree from Punjab Engineering College, followed by a Master’s and PhD from the University of Houston.

In 1978, he founded Kalsi Engineering, which went on to develop advanced technologies for industries including oil and gas, nuclear power and aerospace.

His innovations include Kalsi Seals and valve technologies, while his company has also developed specialised software for nuclear power applications.
